He spends most of the book entreating actors and directors, whom he compares to generals, to master their craft. How? Sheer party loyalty.

did you know he is the most highly respected actor in north korea? that his latest film won more than 20 of the north korean equivelent of oscars?

he is also a best-selling author, and has penned many many treatises of great cultural significance (woe to those who call him illiterate!)

i hope you read that article. it is fucking surreal.

i did indeed. i am glad he escaped. i wanna see those films, even if they apparently aren't well received.
